Many of you will have spoken on the phone with, or met at Field Days, and have come to know and enjoy the company of Bryan
South aka "Southy".
No, this is not an obituary...it's letting you know that, after 20 years as an integral part of AAA Tags Ownership and Management, Bryan has decided to retire and become an even more "Grey Nomad".
Both Bryan and I have enjoyed being a welcomed repeat supplier to you. As founding investors and owners of this
wholly Australian owned and operated enterprise we've built from scratch...in fact, the "Original Online Store" for animal tags; it's been rewarding for us to have earned your respect for the way we do business.
None of that great service and quality of product will change; it just means I'll be busier than ever...while Bryan dangles a fishing rod somewhere around Australia's coastline. 🐟🐠🎣
So, when you visit the website after 31 March, you'll see just one contact name here instead of two. In fact, it might be a good idea to put my mobile phone number, 0428 054 864 in your phone now, so if you need assistance you'll get to me and not the "retiree"!
In the meantime, I know a number of you will want to call Bryan to extend your own personal good wishes.
NLIS is Australia's mandatory system for the identification and tracing of all sheep, lambs, farmed goats and cattle. The system was using visually readable ear tags until 31 Dec. 2024.
EID (electronic tags) are NOW MANDATORY(some exceptions). All animals BORN after 01 Jan 2025 must have an NLIS approved EID device.
The animal may ALSO have an additional visual or management tag. All NLIS devices must stay with the animal for life.
It is unlawful to move animals that are not properly identified with an approved NLIS device from any property.
